Audio Examples made using JSyn - a Java Synthesizer API
The JSyn Applets are run using CheerpJ, which takes a few seconds to load. You must click on the Applet to hear the sound.
Example JSyn Applets
Note that Java no longer is supported by the Chrome browser. So we are using CheerPJ to run these Applets using JavaScript and WASM! The ones marked "OK" are working as intended. The others need to be converted.
- SeeOsc = various oscillators, OK
- FourPole = four pole lowpass filter, "Moog" style, OK
- GoogleWave = custom unit generator that creates an elliptical waveform, OK
- ChebyshevSong - play an algorithmically generated song on a Chebyshev WaveShaper instrument, OK
- Wind = filtered noise
These example use the older AWT style GUI.
- SawFader - modulate a sawtooth wave. OK
- WaveMaker = build waveforms and play using TableOscillator, OK
- FMLab - edit various FM instruments
- PluckedString = plucked string sound using a Karplus-Strong physical model. OK
- Birds = trigger multiple oscillating "birds". OK
- FilterFun - hear the effect of various filters on different sounds.
- Delay1 - create an echo effect.
- Env2 - use a multisegmented envelope. OK
- EnvEdit1 - try JSyn's interactive Envelope Editor. OK
